IAF strikes Hamas command center embedded in Gaza City school

The IAF struck a Hamas command and control center embedded in the Al Falah school compound in Gaza City, the IDF announced Saturday afternoon.

The strike was reportedly carried out under the direction of the Southern Command and the Directorate of Military Intelligence, which discovered that Hamas terrorists had planned attacks on both IDF and State of Israel troops at the former school premises.

“Before the attack, numerous measures were taken to reduce the risk of harming civilians, including the use of precision munitions, aerial surveillance and additional intelligence,” the IDF said.

About 13 Palestinian civilians were killed in the strike, Palestinian news agency WAFA said, citing local reports.
