Celebration and Joy:On Friday, Sept. 13, the North Royalton Educational Foundation will host its annual “Friday Night Bites,” promising an evening of delicious food and exciting pregame festivities.

Set against the backdrop of North Royalton Middle School’s back parking lot, this family-friendly event will run from 4 to 7 p.m. giving the school community a chance to eat something from local food trucks. These include Jolly’s Pizza & Pub, Barrio, Swensons and PopCulture CLE Dessert Shop.

The main attraction of the evening will be the football matchup between the North Royalton Bears and their rivals, the Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees. This local showdown is expected to draw a large crowd, and Friday Night Bites serves as the ideal pre-game celebration.

“We are excited to bring the community together for this event,” said North Royalton Educational Foundation board member Sally Newman. “It’s a great opportunity for families and friends to enjoy good food and company while building excitement for our team.”

The event not only promises to be a fun-filled evening, but also supports the Educational Foundation’s mission to enhance educational experiences for North Royalton students.

The pantry always needs peanut butter and jelly, spaghetti and sauce, canned vegetables, canned fruit, cereal, paper products, soap and toothpaste. No beans of any kind are needed. Gift cards from Heinen’s and Marc’s for the purchase of meat and orange juice are greatly appreciated.

Check the expiration date of each item. It is unfortunate that a significant amount of obsolete goods are thrown away after each shredding day.
