Despite the ongoing drama, Vito has now revealed that his main focus is on the show and getting back in top form for the 2024 series.

He was able to reunite with Amy Dowden, who beat cancer earlier this year but will continue to have preventative treatment for years to come in hopes of a permanent recovery.

“It’s like a family. We always want to look at the positive, beautiful things,” Vito said, The Mirror reports.

“This year is Strictly’s 20th anniversary and it’s going to be a special year. Amy is back and will bring us so much joy that words cannot express.

“And then there’s Aljaž,” he continued, referring to his friend’s return to the show after being asked to join as Giovanni Pernice’s replacement.

“It’s a beautiful opportunity to work side by side. There’s so much love, we’re enjoying every moment, every day of this rehearsal. This is just the beginning.”

Meanwhile, Vito clarified that he is single and “in love with his job” as he awaits confirmation of who his next dance partner will be.

His revelation puts cold water on rumors that he and former Coronation Street star Ellie Leach were dating after they triumphantly lifted the Strictly 2023 trophy together.

However, fans are eagerly waiting to see what he has in store next.
