Marquette’s COZEE art exhibit is seeking submissions

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – If you’re an area artist looking to share your work, an opportunity is coming to The Crib Coffee House and Roastery.

The three-day COZEE art exhibition is scheduled for mid-October. The show will feature live music and unlimited artist submissions. There is no homework and all backgrounds are welcome.

Jacob Darner, curator and director of the art exhibit, says these shows are nothing without local artists.

“That’s kind of the idea, is to create that platform not just for me, but for all my colleagues and friends,” Darner said.

There is a flat fee of $10 for submitting papers. To submit your work, email a photo of the piece, title, medium, year of manufacture, price if for sale, artist name and contact information to Darner at [email protected].

Artist submissions must be submitted by October 5; artists will be announced on October 7.
